From 1965 to 1981, the American Dance Guild published Dance Scope, a groundbreaking journal that illuminated every corner of the modern dance world. These pages not only hold our history, but they are also a bridge to the future – one you can make possible with your donation.

Your support will help us preserve rare and fragile materials from 16 years of dance history, digitize the physical journals for ongoing public access, and celebrate the enduring impact of modern dance!

In honor of ADG’s 70th anniversary, we are organizing a special 2026 festival with a few surprises in store!

With great pride, we would like to announce a new chapter for ADG. In preparation for our 70th anniversary in 2026, we have newly elected board members!

After serving 12 years as ADG’s president, Gloria McLean has passed the leadership of ADG to Anabella Lenzu. Anabella seeks to uphold ADG’s founding principles to support artists, dance education, and bring the dance community together.
